Put on your calendar - Red Feather Festival, October 6th, Festivities start at 6:00 with parade around the football field will start at 7:00.
Homecoming is October 7th. Pregame Homecoming Festivities will include special guests.

Homecoming 2022 Overall Spirit Contest
Dress-Up Days
Grade levels will receive points based on dress-up participation. These points will be
calculated as a percentage of students participating. WIN teachers will tally students who
participate in dress-up days each day and will post their tally on a Google form during WIN.
Students must have an obvious change in their normal appearance to be considered having
dressed-up for Homecoming. If a student must explain their clothes and they look the same
as every other day that you see them then they have not dressed up. Students who wear the 2022 Homecoming T-Shirt will receive a point for that day.
Students must also follow school dress code guidelines within reason to participate in dress-up days. If they are out of dress code, they cannot earn points for their class.
2022 Dress Up Days:
Monday: Dress like your parents (think soccer moms and BBQ dads)
Tuesday: Adam Sandler Day (think any of his characters or how he dresses on a daily basis)
Wednesday: Senior Citizen Day
Thursday: Anything but a Backpack day -- THINGS HAVE TO BE CARRIED (NOTHING THAT WILL MESS UP THE FLOORS!)
Friday: 50 Years of LFO/LFO Pride (think what students would have worn to LFO in previous
decades: letterman jackets, prom dresses, etc)
Homecoming Parade Carts
Each grade level will be expected to decorate a golf cart to be entered in the homecoming parade. Carts will be judged based on the rubric.
Homecoming Pep Rally
The pep rally spirit contest will be held at Friday’s pep rally. Spirit will be judged for each class based on pep rally participation and spirit.
At the end of the pep rally, the overall class winner of the Homecoming Overall Spirit contest will be awarded the LFO Warrior Spirit Spear and receive a Snack Break* on October 18.

Snack Break will be between 3rd and 4th block. The winning class will leave 3rd early and go to the lunchroom where they will receive a drink and a Little Debbie. They will report to 4th block a little late.
