RAFFLE TICKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT
This Raffle Ticket Purchase Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between purchaser of any and all tickets ("Purchaser") and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School, a public high school located at 1850 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742 ("School").
1. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing a raffle ticket from the School, whether in person or through online ticketing agency, Purchaser agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
2. Raffle Event
The raffle event will run from August 29th through November 1st. The drawing for the raffle winner will take place at halftime of the November 1st game. Purchasers do not need to be present at the drawing to win.
3. Release of Liability
Purchaser hereby releases and discharges Catoosa County Public Schools, its employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the raffle ticket purchase, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss related to the vehicle.
4. Responsibility for Taxes and Fees
Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that if they are declared the winner of the raffle, they will be responsible for all taxes, fees, and other costs associated with the transfer and ownership of the used car, including but not limited to sales tax, title fees, and registration fees.
5. Transfer of Ownership
If Purchaser is declared the winner of the raffle, they agree that the transfer of ownership of the used car will occur directly from the dealership (Three Notch Auto) to Purchaser. The School will facilitate the transfer but will not be responsible for any issues arising from the transfer process.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia in the county of Catoosa.
7. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
