Mrs. Amy Lawson

CTAE Coordinator/Assistant Principal

Welcome to Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) at LFO!

We offer the best opportunities for all of our LFO students. There is nothing quite as rewarding as watching a student complete a pathway while participating in an organization that builds collaboration, communication, and leadership skills and then getting the privilege of watching that student graduate with a career plan in place.

Bio: Mrs. Lawson holds an Education Specialist degree from Valdosta State University. She began her teaching career in 1998 in Tennessee and moved to Catoosa County in 2006. She joined the LFO family in 2018 as an English teacher, then Academic Coach, and is now an Assistant Principal and CTAE Supervisor.

"LFO is such a special place and I am so fortunate to be here. The students and faculty at LFO are the most empathetic, understanding, and accepting group of people...all students find a place they fit here. It's an amazing and rewarding place to be!"                -Mrs. Lawson
