Catoosa County Public Schools is moving to a new text messaging service through School Messenger. School Messenger is also the company that hosts the websites for the system.  The system will deliver important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more. Text messages will only be sent to parents or guardians, students and their emergency contacts. You can participate in this service just by sending a text message of "Y" or "Yes" to our school's short code number, 67587.

This is a text messaging service we recommend all parents and guardians sign up for this service. (Please note, although the district does not charge you for this service, it does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving text messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.) We recommend saving this short code and Caller ID to the contacts on your phone. This will help prevent any 3rd party call blocking systems from interfering with your receipt of important messages sent by the school or school district. SchoolMessenger is compliant with the Student Privacy Pledge, so you can rest assured that your information will never be given or sold to anyone.

An initial enrollment sign up text will be sent on January 27th, 2020.  Please follow the instructions given in the text. If you do not receive the text please send a text to 67587 with a Y or YES.  The sign up period will last from January 27-March 31. All Catoosa County Schools will begin using the text system April 1, 2020. The School system will continue to use Schoolcast until this time.
