Coordinator Information

My name is Katie Charlesworth, otherwise known at LFO as Nurse Katie.  I have been teaching for two years here at LFO.  I have been a registered nurse since 2011.  I am an alumni of LFO and am proud to be a part of the LFO family.  I have a Bachelors Degree from North Georgia University in Business Administration, Associates Degree in Nursing from Georgia Northwestern Technical College, and a Masters Degree in Teaching from Shorter University.

My desire is to encourage students to pursue a career in healthcare and become leaders in the community.  I want students to understand they have the potential to do amazing things with a career in healthcare.  When students complete the Healthcare Science Pathway they will have a better understanding of the careers available in healthcare and be prepared to continue their education.
