Week Of September 28

Principal's Message

I hope everyone had a restful weekend. We have a lot going on these last two weeks before Fall Break, and then we roll right into Homecoming week. Congratulations to our football team on a hard-fought victory last Friday over Gordon Central. It was just a matter of time! Proud of all our guys and coaches! We don't have a football game this Friday, but have no fear; we have our annual Powderpuff game!! The Juniors are looking to defend their title! I will be the impartial referee as usual! A HUGE shoutout to our band for their high marks at the competition Saturday. They received a first place and three second place awards. Great job band and Mrs. Miller!! Check out the calendar for all this week's events! Battle of the Bands is Tuesday at Heritage. It will be an awesome night! Please make sure you are getting to school on time and trying your hardest to be at school all day, every day!! Looking forward to a great week! Feathers up!!

IMPORTANT: LFO Traffic Pattern

Warriors, please help us ensure the safety of all students by following our school’s traffic pattern. Student drop-off and pick-up is located at the back of the building, and at no time should parents pick up students in the front of the building after school. All walkers should use the sidewalk and cross at the designated crosswalk near Tommy Cash Stadium when crossing Battlefield Parkway.

Please also note that the traffic pattern around the school is one-way, and at no time, including athletic events, should cars be driving against traffic. Following these procedures helps us maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone on campus.

Once they've signed up, the $20 fee will be added to their infinite campus account and can then be paid in room 103 between classes, in the bookkeepers office, or online (additional fee does apply to use a card). The sign-up for LFO students will close on Friday, October 9th -- students must use their school google account to sign up!

If an LFO student wishes to bring an outside date to the dance, he/she MUST pick up a permission slip for their date in the office or outside room 103. These forms must be turned in no later than October 7th. Once the date has been approved by an LFO administrator, a second fee will be added to the LFO student's account.
