LFO Performing Arts - Beetlejuice Jr!
We are so excited to invite you to come see LFO’s production of Beetlejuice Jr.! Our students have been working incredibly hard to bring this show to life, and we would love for you to come, enjoy the show, and support our performing arts program!
Our public performances are as follows:
- Wednesday, October 28th 7:00 pm (Our Beetlejuice Understudy, Brody Smith, will play Beetlejuice!)
- Thursday, October 29th 7:00 pm
- Saturday, October 31st 1:00 pm (With a trunk or treat after!)
- Sunday, November 1st 1:00 pm
In addition to our public performances, we will be competing with this production on November 4th in our Region 7-AA One Act Play Competition. For those unfamiliar with GHSA One Act rules, each school must perform a production in under 55 minutes. All lighting and sound is universal for every school, which means our students must make creative, in-the moment choices rather than relying on pre-cued lighting and sound designs. We must also begin and end with a completely clear stage, so every set piece, prop, and costume change must be handled by the students within that time limit. It’s an incredible showcase of teamwork, creativity, and problem solving!
Faculty tickets are free, and we would absolutely love to see you there supporting our students. Our program relies heavily on ticket sales and donations to keep creating opportunities like this for our performers, so if you’d like to contribute, any donation (big or small!) means the world to us. More than anything, your presence and encouragement make all the difference.
We will also be having Trunk or Treat outside of the Theatre immediately following our Halloween Matinee Performance! Your ticket into our show will get you into our trunk or treat after. There is more information on the attached flyer.
Thank you for supporting the performing arts at LFO and for continuing to show up for our incredible students. We can’t wait to share Beetlejuice Jr. with you!
Feathers up!
