Week of November 2

Principal's Message

What an awesome week we just had. Red Ribbon Week activities were great. We had over 500 students eligible for the Trunk or Treat! We recognized our fall sport seniors at the pep rally and will continue to celebrate them this week. Senior night is Friday before the football game. Activities will start around 6:45 PM. We also will be hosting the GHSA One-Act region Play Competition on Wednesday. LFO will perform at 4:15. The Show is unbelievable. Good luck to our drama students! Remember that Friday is a half day for students. We will dismiss at 11:45 AM. Any student who wants to eat lunch will have the opportunity from 11:15-11:45. If you drive, walk, or your ride is here early, you may leave at 11:15 if you choose not to eat lunch at school. Students, please continue to work hard in the classroom as we are getting very close to EOPA and EOC testing. I know we are going to do great! Looking forward to another great week! Feathers up!!

IMPORTANT: LFO Traffic Pattern

Warriors, please help us ensure the safety of all students by following our school’s traffic pattern. Student drop-off and pick-up is located at the back of the building, and at no time should parents pick up students in the front of the building after school. All walkers should use the sidewalk and cross at the designated crosswalk near Tommy Cash Stadium when crossing Battlefield Parkway.

Please also note that the traffic pattern around the school is one-way, and at no time, including athletic events, should cars be driving against traffic. Following these procedures helps us maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone on campus.
